Music lessons!
As part of our innovation project for FLL 2023, we are offering music lessons in a way that no one has ever done before! By specifically targeting the CAPS curriculum, children will learn all the essentials of creative arts and music. We also use technology like Virtual Reality to get more involved and give the children a truly immersive experience!
This lesson will teach children about basic rhythm patterns.
Lesson 2: Different rhythm types
This lesson introduces the learners to different polyrhythms and basic body percussion.
In this lesson, the children will apply the different types of rhythm to simple instruments such as drums.
In this lesson, the children will learn to dance to the rhythm of different songs.
In this lesson, learners will learn how to safely warm up their voices using sounds and a song.
In this lesson, the learners will learn to warm up their voices using tongue twisters and rhymes.
In this lesson the learners will have to keep rhythm and learn to identify and respond to cues.
Lesson 3: Dance on the rhythm!
In this lesson, the learners will learn to dance to the rhythm of different songs.
Lesson 4: Cannons and call-and-response songs
This lesson teaches learners how to sing in canon and review call-and-response songs.
This lesson teaches learners to use their body to make different sounds.
Lesson 2: Accompany with percussion instruments
In this lesson, learners will listen to a song and then keep rhythm along with the song.
In this lesson, learners will have to create their own rhythms to go with an existing song.
Lesson 4: Creation of rhythm with dynamics
This lesson is a continuation of lesson 3. The learners will do the same song and rhythms, but with different dynamics.

If you need any help regarding recording and sending the video, see the information below:
Try to fit as many learners as possible into the camera's frame. If the group is too large, it may be divided into smaller groups and thus be separate videos. It doesn't matter what camera you use! Even a phone is quite suitable.
To ensure that the recording will sound at it's best, please avoid any background noises and record insite a building.
