Let's imagine, we are outside in the rain.
Revision:
In term 1 we learned about the 2-beat, 3-beat and 4-beat rhythms
2-time's rhythm goes like this: one two, one two, one two
3-time's rhythm goes like this: one two three, one two three
4-time rhythm goes like this: one two three four, one two three four
Exercise 1:
For our first practice we are going to clap to the rhythm of the Zulu song, Ngizwa imvula. The song is in 4 time.
Exercise 2:
For this exercise, the teacher will say a rhythm and the children will answer.
Question 1: How does one count 2-time?
